I'm with you on that one! Nothing here in Appling but a little rain. I spent the day at my parent's house in Evans and the rain stopped by 10-11. I LOVE storms so I was kinda bummed.

No major excitement here. A rescue I work for asked if I could foster a few pups in a couple weeks for about 3 weeks! I'm super excited!

Then tonight a mama cat and her 4 kittens were abandoned l, so I've offered to take them in too. Not sure how old they are but pretty young. We'll see tomorrow. I haven't taken care of kittens for about 8 years! Sooo excited and my kids are over the moon.

Sounds like everyone made it through storms ok. Appling County got some ancestors from there, Evans too. Hope everyone stays safe and mishaps is all we get. I waited all day yesterday to go see houses and the young man never called. Spent about an hour with the chicks got two on my lap and 2 others looking how do you get up there faces! Last straw we got is trash and I will take more time next batch. Full of more weeds and sticker bushes than hay and I paid 10 bucks for it. That is a lot around here. Grow my own one day I guess. This city was once the hay fields people could be proud of, pomegranates the size of basketballs now the salt water and idiot x ruler trashed the water tables and salt water has destroyed the natural sweet water. What mankind does to nature is sickening.

! 2 of my TSC brahmas are showing signs of CRD. Swollen eyes with fluid dischard from eyes and nose. Loss of appetite, sneezing, etc. I quarantined one yesterday, and now ive got another sick bird this morning. The SLWs in the pen with them are also getting sick (they also came from TSC)

Is anyone else dealing with this illness???

I'm SO glad I kept my other chicks on the other side of the yard!!
