YO GEORGIANS! :)

How will he handle the Arizona sun? That bird has no protection of any kind. Not sure what the point of that is.
Not just sun, but stinging plants and insects, rain (which Arizona does still get), sand, scrapes from rocks. Not to mention picking from the other chickens. I can understand why some areas would be interested in featherless chickens for factory use, but it's a little cruel to make the guy live outside without any clothes.

I don't want to google them. I may never get the image of that one out of my head. That picture is burned into my retinas. A chicken is not supposed to be able to walk straight into the oven. Those things are worse than those creepy hairless cats.

Forget knitting him a sweater. He already has some garments. He is priceless!

Actually, this lady loves her chickens like her children. She has gone to great lengths to protect Rudy. She goes far and beyond the normal chicken keeper with her chickens. She knows an incredible amount about chickens and genetics. Chickens are her passion. Please don't think of her as cruel. Her research can benefit people in countries where it is too hot and humid for the normal chicken.

Check him out, preening away at his little sweater. Bless him. That's amazing she was able to do that though.. I agree it woul make for quick processing.

Does anyone know if this is a Old English Game or a Modern Game?
I thought the game chickens that we have were all OEGs but this Roo is taller than some of the other Game Roos and he is younger than the others.

Another of our Game roos I believe is OEG Bantam but not sure.

Tee hee hee. Saw my young rooster (3 months old) trying to have a 'go' at a hen. He had her by some feathers on her neck, but the poor inexperienced boy was standing facing the hen on the ground, holding some neck feathers and just rocking the air, Ha! Too funny.

LOL. I once had a young "strapping" (NOT) Brahma feel his oats one day.. The hen, who was thrice his size, body-slammed him just as quick as any rooster would have. :lau
