Sorry about your loss, wombat. I lost ALL my silkies last year, and nothing I did kept them from keeling over. It's the feeling of helplessness that hurts the most, I think.

Okay, ladies and gentlemen??? if you go to ellijay and want to wander down to our farm afterwords with a box of apples, mmmmm.... cannot have too many apples, I wouldn't mind!!! I'm serious!!!!!!! I have to go get a few more apples this year. A heavy frost came to us after and most apples didn't make it! Have a fun trip.... Look forward to hearing about it!

I may be able to do the 13th or 14th let me check. My hubs works on the 13th but has the 14th off. I wrote everything down and it sounds like a blast.

Also, I think that my best friend's grandma has a birthday party that day. She turns 90- about the age that you don't know if there will be another party (not a nice thing to say, but true). So, I really need to go. She's like a grandma to me, after 27 yrs of friendship. Pam

One of my mystery chickens hatched over night and the other two have pips! I wasn't expecting anything until Sunday! Here it is so...................What do I have with this 4 toed cutie???
