The Cobb county law is so absurd. Cobb co looks like chi ken country with so much land, etc- I didn't even believe it when I first heard you couldn't have chickens there. My husband and I thought we wanted to move to Smyrna or Marietta until we found out we would have to give up our chickens and ducks. I live in Fulton but just wrote to the Cobb Co commissioners. Thank you for the easy link.
 
hey, right now i have 2 gold-laced wyandottes and one easter egger for layers, and a pair of Seabright Bantams. once we get a new fence put up, we'll be adding more chickens.

Paula they sound beautiful. My hubs and I are really liking the black and white like your Sebrights.

Hey- what time do you think it would be? The get-together goes on from 2-6 for my friends B'day. I don't need to stay the whole time. It will be on Lookout Mountain- so maybe I'll have a head start.

Pam I want to go in the morning and leave by 2-3pm. If I remember right it's a little drive up that way. I don't know where Lookout Mountain is relative to Ellijay but if it's on the way or just past then it sounds doable for you. I will be bringing my mom in her wheelchair because I can't leave her alone. It will be a good outing for us, I think? I hope the fairgrounds has decent ground to push a wheelchair on. I found it hard in Calhoun with her in the wheelchair as the gravel just ate her wheelchair up and she sunk in. LOL Let me know if you think you can come so we can arrange to meet somewhere in Ellijay or at the farm.
