Hey everyone, I live here in south central Georgia in Cairo. Didn't realize there was this much on BYC, hadn't really had the time to check out the site till now. On the injured list, fell in the chicken yard and really bummed up the leg. Doc says I'll be down off my feet and leg in the air except to get a drink or you know what. So here I am with my laptop propped up on the chair arm and time to kill. So I am discovering all kinds of new things, like I had no idea they had a swap right here in Cairo, so cool! I just started raising my own chickens this spring, hadn't really done anything with chickens for about 30 years, since I was a kid in the country in Northern Ohio. Hope to get to know ya'll!

acastle64 to the Georgian group! So sorry to hear about your fall. Be sure and do what the doc says so you can get better and get back out and enjoy this fall weather and your chickens. What kind of chickens are you raising there in Cairo? ~ Cindy

Maybe next show OR what about the apple festival up in Ellijay next Saturday the 13th? Paula, who is on here, has a farm up there and it would be nice to stop in and see her too. Anyone want to meet up in Ellijay that Saturday. Lots of apples, crafts, and FOOD! Sounds like so much fun to me.

I am going up to PA that weekend and I am still unsure if I will go to the Monroe show. Time might be cramped for me with getting back here and bathing everyone to go. I am thinking I probably won't make it to the show anyhow.

I cannot find a decent job within a reasonable distance from me and got this call for a second interview for a nice position up in PA. I might have to move back to the cold in order to feed my chickens!
