YO GEORGIANS! :)

Thanks Cindy! But I am afraid I might not be here at that time.

I cannot find a decent job within a reasonable distance from me and got this call for a second interview for a nice position up in PA. I might have to move back to the cold in order to feed my chickens!

Well then prayers for you to find a good paying job for a nice position. You gotta do what you gotta do. You will still be on BYC right? Stop by if you move and tell us what's up in PA

One day...We will both have a Splash

Yay! I found a splash roo- but I have way too many boys. I guess I could get a few more blue pullets (not because I like blue, but because my boys are blue) . It's kind of cold to put one or two in Quantine. I misspelled that. She/they wouldn't be able to snuggle in a silkie pile of 1. lol

I meant "YAY" that both of us will have splash. Not "yay" about the roo. Not gonna get him. I need a bachelor pen now ;) I need to put that Showgirl boy in it. He's the dominate ones- I don't want a bunch of Showgirls (no offense Showgirl peeps, I just want more Silkies). I'm keeping him, because he might be my showable one

Thanks Cindy! I might just have to stop and see you on one of our trips back and forth. I am still applying around here also and if something comes up in the meantime here, i will be staying but I am getting down to the wire. We will have to keep our place here because nothing is selling here so we will be making trips back and forth if we do have to move. The sad part is I will have to downsize greatly for the move and I get so darn attached to all of them!

Oh Pam I knew what you meant, tee hee. I'm not a showgirl Girl. I just want some nice chickens and maybe breed but maybe not. They are my sanity right now and a source of laughter and joy while taking care of my mom with the alzheimers. I had the chicks out in a pen in the yard Friday and Saturday while it was sunny and warm in the late afternoon. They were so funny scratching and dusting their little bodies. Both hens were going dust crazy and flinging the dirt all over the chicks. I was dieing laughing. Here's a picture I took. Lacy was just flinging it everywhere. Hahaha

I hope the good Lord finds you something here right away but, if it is His plan to move you to PA everything will fall into place and you will be blessed. I would love to meet you!!! ~ Cindy

I love it when they do the "popcorn dance" when I put them out. Bouncing all around and flapping like popcorn popping! It always brings a smile to my face. Lacy in adorable :)
