So the hatching madness continues here but that's a good thing ... I was starting to get worried about what I was going to do with all of these eggs that I need to hatch.

I'll get an exact head count shortly but we have flower ducks and jdduck turkeys. (as well as a bunch of chicks)

GAMjr has more Seramas. Darn things are so stinkin' cute. I was holding all 7 of them at once and there was still enough room in my hands that GAMjr put a poult in the pile. lol

I have 14 Muscovy eggs that need to go in as well as eggs from some of our birds.

Our birds being the 20 hens in the big pen with one rooster... lucky guy................... or poor guy depending on your point of view

9 hens penned up with roosters of the same breed.

Several hens free ranging with 7 or 8 roosters so who knows what they're producing.

35 or 40 ducks... I tried to count today but they're too wide spread to get an accurate count.

Hanks and his 2 turkey girls. Then 2 sweetgrass turkeys but we're still not 100% sure what sex they are.

The Trio of Pilgrim geese that have left the 2nd male out in the cold.

The only thing missing is the partridge in our big pear tree that stands in the middle of the pasture.

Not counting the various ducklings at the house there are 31 ducks ... for now. The Pekin population is going to be cut down to 2.

Now as for ducklings ... 9 KCs, 4 Anconas, and then the unknown counts from today's hatching.

We have 3 coops, 37 adult chickens. I have 19 day old chicks in the brooder, 4 eggs in the incubator still cooking and I'm supposed to get 12+ eggs from CA in a couple of weeks (New Hampshire reds and RSLs). and I'm thinking about bidding on some more eggs. What is wrong with me?!

Clearly the same thing wrong with us.
