@katsdar I went back and caught him. so here is what I posted on facebook.

Hey everyone!! I went back to check on that Roo and I was able to catch him without hurting him. So I was informed by a lady that walks the Park frequently that someone just dumped him and his other partner there. However, his partner was taken by a Hawk. So I am posting it here so that someone can give him his forever home. He is sweet. A little beat up but will make a beautiful bird to someones flock. I rescued him for rehoming him so there is no fee. That's right he is FREE!!!!!

Beautiful boy right there! if you were closer, I'd come get him for my daughter and son in law, they're without a rooster right now. But you're in savannah and I'm only 7 miles from the AL line.....LOL

@rossfam06 He is a beautiful boy,sad that someone just dumped them, glad you found him a home, I was planning on a road trip , and was going to take Nelson's wife,and give her to him, lol I'd really like to get him Nelson a game hen I think he'd be happier, Nelson hasn't complained tho.

I hold my birds when the dastardly deed needs to be done, funny thing I can't do babies, my DH takes care of them if they need it and they are the easiest,
