Dh was supposed to SELL sausage and bacon from our hog. Guess what he took to work today? Over $50 worth of pork to GIVE away to coworkers. I was supposed to get the cooler out for him last Thursday but 'forgot'. He says I forgot because it wasn't chicken related. I said perhaps it had something to do with giving away my hard work! I don't mind giving and sharing with friends or family but when dh says 'I told xxx I'd take him some sausage. But xxx heard us talking so I have to take him some too. And xxx is usually on the same crew so I guess I need to give him some. Nobody likes xxx but it wouldn't be right to bring sausage for everyone else and not him so...Boss man can't be left out either.' WTH?!? Here honey, let me just split the whole hog for everyone else.

how are you cooking them that you have to preboil them?
 
Quick Update for those getting the buff orpington pullets, guineas and the ducks-they are all still doing really well. I was worried about the guineas, since I've heard they were fragile, but we've had no issues at all.

Does anyone have a white leghorn pullet betwwen 12-20 weeks old? Was thinking my buff orpington may do better with a friend or two after the others go to their new home.

question how old are the guineas? Yes you BO is going to be lonely after all the friends leave.
