YO GEORGIANS! :)

Next years want list is already forming in my head.

Speckled Sussex
Silver laced Polish

I am hoping to hatch Lav Ameraucanas and BCM soon! Then, next year can produce more olive eggers.

The feeder is hung just head high, and the Serama is the most quilty for wanting to rake out the food. I have tried both crumbles as well as pellets and continue to rake it out. Have placed a saucer under the feeder in hopes to contain some of the feed And it continues to fill up.. Have checked the beak of the Serama and it is not to long, @ equal with her bottom beak. So that is why wondering if their may be a better feeder, maybe adjust feed and also deeper lip.
I was gonna suggest hanging it too.. So Is he raking it out with his beak? My Brahmas are the world's worst about knocking four out. I switched to pelleted and use much less feed now so I'm guessing that'd be your best bet.

Ughhh I'm SO sick, y'all. DS had band day yesterday at JSU and I got incredibly hot. Therefore this morning I'm battling a migraine, nausea and of course, a bit of sunburn. :(

I'm so miserable.

I did have a fair hatch, however. I'm up to twelve AM so far with two active ones left in the bator (I wanted to get most of mine out before Papa's start hatching.. Didn't plan this very well lol, just got excited to be hatching again)..

I did have five quitters :( BUT if these last two hatch, it still will leave me with a 74% hatch.. Not too shabby for my flock being so young and all..

GAMjr was reading over my shoulder and said, "Poor Ms Carla".
Aww that sweet little girl. Now whose is she again???

Took a large amount of TUMS and ibuprofen, along with some coffee and cereal.. A nap.. And now I'm good as new, lol.

Whew. It just felt too similar to a hangover, a feeling that makes me very anxious and one I do not miss. NOW I just have to get this darn HOUSE in order. It's out of control!!

Glad you're feeling better! I remember those band trips, they could definitely take a toll on ya!

My chicks are growing so fast. I was wishing I had held out and gotten POL birds but they are awfully fun to watch grow. I will try to get pictures today. This is from three days ago. I swear they are bigger today.

4 years as a band mom here. One of my daughters required me to be at EVERY practice, performance, competition, trip, etc. So glad my girls graduated :)
