YO GEORGIANS! :)

A guy who bought some chicks from me a few months ago brought back the rooster EE he got. He needed a female that was the same age as the one he was bring back. So I ended up selling him my RIR! So, does anyone have an extra RIR pullet? I had thought to give him my cute little NN girl for a replacement, but he just didn't like the looks of the NN.......poor baby, I think she is adoreable!

Let me count my 4-6 week old RIRs. I've got a number promised (traded for a sheep) but more hatching out today at Eric's today :)
I'm trying to remember how many I have where right now.

We added another divider to my big pen yesterday, and the poor little silkies finally got out of their hutch and onto the ground.
They are with my grow outs, and so far so good.

The newest section is my random hens. red and black sexlinks, SLW, Barred Rock, Australorps, all with the roosters that couldn't stay in the bachelor pad.
Dillon the SFH, a lavender orp, a blue and a black Ameraucana. Basically all eating eggs :)

My other sections are RIR, and then the grow out pen for anything big enough to get outside but not laying yet.
The Lavender Ams have their pen, and the Black Am hens have their splash rooster for now. Later we will rotate in the blue rooster.

And the next oldest batch of youngsters are now in the coop, in the section without outside access for now. In a couple weeks they will rotate into the grow out pen, and the next group will move from the garage to the coop.

Hey, at least I think I have a plan...

Holy. Frizzled. Cuteness.

Now remember they are fragile, so cute

One of my cream legbars that hatched 21 days back. She's starting to grow her crest and will go from the garage to the big chick room at the barn next week. I have 15 now with 11 pullets and 4 roos. I said I wasn't going to try any more shipped eggs but have 15 CCLs and 15 Bielefelders in the bator now. My wife just looks at me but she's out every morning helping take care of the animals.

She's a cutie. CCL are some of the prettiest colored hens. In a way my Brown Leghorn girls remind me of the CCL I had once. Just with their pretty colored breast & all.

You have the most amazing property and flock!!! I'm in envy! My mom really wanted me to get some frizzles and NN! I need to get the little ones to the coop and I may be back if you still have some!! I'm in love with your set up! Thank you for the tour! Hopefully the hatch will go well!
