YO GEORGIANS! :)

oh I didn't hear from you so I though you didn't want the quail, so how many do you want. and the ducks are home,(only temp) but I have never seen ducks so happy to have white clear water, I was running the hose into the water pan and they all 3 immediately went under the running water and started taking a bath, So I sprayed them down really good and then filled up the trough as you can see very happy ducks, bet this is the first time in their short 4 months that they had a swim. So I put them in one at a time and the others were squawking for their turn.

I tried to get them all taking a bath but it just didn't happen, so one mallard female and the 2 Peking look to be female also.

Oh and the white ones were green, yeck but so pretty now

Anyone here do scrap booking? Friend is going to unload a boat load, and I mean boat load, you can imagine it, she has it, so let me know, so I can get a price for ya, they are making deals so don't pass this up.

I been thinking about doing BLRW over Lavender AM. Wondering what that will result in?
My AM were black and all of the pullets turned out red base with black lacing, some with beards. They're beautiful. Use one of the genetics calculators.. I used to like clicking around in there too!

How do you give a duck a bath?!
Very carefully

Mine bathe by themselves. Just give them enough water to dive into. They dive and then preen their feathers. But, if they are covered with lots of gunk, you can use dawn dish soap on them. Then rinse.
The ducks are so pretty and white, I'm going to go get them a kiddie pool and put it into their space and let them have fun, I filled up their water this am, and they just go diving into the running water. I hated to turn the hose off, do you think I could let the Peking ducks out to run around in the yard when I"m home of course? I think they are going to go to Gam's and the female Mallard. They need to have a nice home after what they came from, I'm trying to talk him into letting me rehome his other birds at least the ducks it's just so sad. 2 of the roosters are in cages so small (we are talking bantams) they just have enough room to turn around in. and never gets out.
