It's just to keep their dumb little heads in the wire so they don't get them ripped off. We've dealt with lots of predators, so I'm getting pretty decent at figuring out the flaws in a system.
Looks like you used 4x4 hog wire as a frame and overlaid with 1x1 garden mesh so that the poults and turkeys will keep their heads. Nice work!
Need help let us know
Thanks!
Many thanks to katsdar and the brucifers ... couldn't have done it without y'all.
Look forward to seeing everyone on the 20th.
It was a pleasure meeting you and your young 'uns. Great kids!
Even though it was a lot of work to do in a short period of time, it was fun. I think we all had a real sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.
yea..rainy conditions and wood steps aren't my friend. They are thinking my arm is broken/fractured, but x-ray was inconclusive due to the swelling. Anyway, like I've said before, they dont call me Grace for nothing around here! LOL...
Do ya'll have a habitat for humanity restore up there? They have all kinds of stuff including flooring and doors. down here Tuesday and Saturday or Wed and SAT everything is 1/2 off. you just have to go look and see what they have. My friend got a beautiful, wood and glass door for $10
Are you getting another x-ray once the swelling subsides? So wait a minute; were you going to use your arm sling for your Delaware as well?? lol
Thanks for the idea about HfH restore option. I checked and there are several stores within a 50-mile radius, so we'll take a look. I was also thinking about posting an ISO ad in craigslist. I've gotten so many great items from there.
Yes, tomorrow. Plus that's the first avail time I could get an appt...ugh
