YO GEORGIANS! :)

Ok well in in the dog house...she just figured out how many chicks I got...oh well she doesn't understand chicken math, and im always in the doghouse so im used to it!

so i went back and found where i posted this. ..and thought I'd give ya'll an update since it is sorta funny!

Well yes i was in the doghouse, so we "compromised" I could keep my 2 cochins and 1 Brahma, but that I would get rid of the sussex and americana's ......well guess who is in love with the speckled sussex besides me!? LOL yep, the very one who put me on chicken restriction! lol :woot:celebrate
so I get to keep all my chicks, and now have 16....:love
They are all doing great!

this has been awful---to hatch at home with no community?? and then i just logged in and this thread was gone from my subscribed threads and it wouldn't come up in search?? boo.

enough complaining, I guess. I'm just glad we're back. Being away was sadder than sad.
BYC still has some bugs to work out with the new software. For example, I noticed that some of the links to photos don't work, but at least we're back up an running, so that's a good thing.

LOL! That is too funny!

I have to admit that the Speckled Sussex are stunning. We have two SS girl chicks that we are bringing to the BYC picnic for flowerbh. Those two birds are sweet, smart, and beautiful. Their white speckles are coming in, and those girls look prettier every day. We've decided that we're going to get a few later on to add to our flock.

BTW, how's your arm? Is it feeling better? Also, I forgot to mention before the BYC interlude that I think the project where you repurposed those wooden pallets into a gardening station turned out great. Nice work!

Yes those babies are sweet as they can be. My cochins are really stealing my heart though, I hold them all the time...they will just lay in my arms and coo and snuggle.
Thankfully my arm wasn't broken or fractured, just very very bruised, I'm able to move it so much better, headed to the Spine dr shortly to get a read on my CT scan from monday.

Thanks on the planting table...I had so much fun making it, and so much more room now!

Been rough around here so I am ready for some light-hearted social time this weekend.

Our little colt that had the run in with colic a month and a half ago has decided to try it again. I think he is clear now ... for the time being.

One of our toms turkeys and one of his girls have vanished ... ducks have been vanishing ... no feathers, no bodies, nothing ... just gone.

And I am still gimping around with this darn boot on my leg.

Enough whining ... hope all is well with everyone out there.
