YO GEORGIANS! :)

Not sure what you are saying. Are you talking about the white grid under the black turner? I know the black wire has to go through the little notch for the plug in. But, it seems to be working. Put eggs on it with an X and the eggs are being turned. Let me know what you are referring to. Thanks Jack!
Yea, based on your photo, flip the white grid so the top wires go left to right. The turner should slide on the wire grid. The way you have it, the turner might snag on the grid

You need to flip your wire grid over so that the top wires go in the direction that the turner moves.

I know what he means, Becky. It looks like the wire under your turner will have your eggs going bumpity bumpity over each intersection. If you turn it the right way, you will have perfect little tracks for the eggs to roll over. Look closely at how the wire is welded to see which way to put it.

Tractor supply got me again.:thSame story, different day. Just went for a few supplies, and wouldn't you know it. I was just going to glance at those little peeps, and was sure that "I DON'T NEED NOTHIN'". I looked in the bantam brooder and thought...
"Is that Silkies I see?" Holy Sh#*! The one thing that I was not expecting.:idunno I said,
"Excuse me, I'll take 4 of those white ones.":he

Silkies at a TSC? Wow, especially for their prices. Everyone around here wants a few pretty pennies for silkies.
They are thrown in with the bantam mixes. I've seen them, too. Just don't want bantams. And Silkies!!! Well, they are just too broody for me! Drives me crazy to have to keep throwing them out of the nest and never getting any eggs from them!

Goat watch is still on. This is day 148. She is a miniature mix and the guy we got her from said to go with the 145 days. Just went to check on her and she is just now starting to show some of the first signs of labor. Talking to herself, rubbing on the wall, looking swollen down there, udders getting full, etc. I will go out and check on her after midnight. Hopefully tomorrow! Will send pics whenever something happens!

This is one of.my silkie chicks I am a bit puzzled on the color. The egg was marked as one from my silkie frizzle. But the coloring is off. Any guesses?

I think I figured it out this.is a chick from one of.my Sizzles and Blue silkie paring. One of the Sizzle hens laid her egg in the wrong pen. It would explain the lacing or baring on the silkie feathering.
