Does anyone know a good Blue Cochin breeder in the Canton, GA area? I am looking for either a standard or bantam rooster and am having a fun time finding one.

Well I did it! I ordered more chicks! My friend ordered 7 and I ordered 7. We have 8 eggs apiece in the incubator due to hatch on Wed. We will sell most of those chicks because we have lots of those kinds of chickens. I also have 12 Runner ducks in there. I am traveling and my daughter said one of the eggs exploded in the bator last night....ugh! It was an egg I took from my "not so good" broody and put it in the bator. She just kept switching nest and her eggs got cold. Only 2 of the 10 I put under her looked good when I took them away from her. One exploded and the other seems ok. She had to clean it all up for me. I won't be home until Tues and they are due on Wed. I couldn't help having to be gone. I hope they all don't start hatching early....my DH will freak out!

Star Cochins have some of the best blue Cochins in the country. They are located here in Georgia but I can't remember if it's Lithonia or Lithia Springs they're in. They have a FB page that provides their contact info. I think she's only doing hatching eggs for local pick-up right now but trust me, it's worth a drive. This lady bought the Star Cochin line from a couple that bred Cochins for 20+ years and they won shows left and right. I hatched eggs from her in May and have some beautiful birds. Here are couple of picks of my blues at 9 weeks.
