YO GEORGIANS! :)

@Jharper - (or others) I've never used that type of incubator.. Do they hatch in there as well?
Yes. There are a lot of Youtube videos featuring this incubator. They show all stages of hatching/candling and the actual hatching. You should watch some. (look up candling chicken eggs) I always love to see chicks hatching!

Cool I'll check it out! My bator is just the cheap-y LG with the flat screen, so lots of room for them to move when they are hatched. I cannot WAIT to hatch chicks sometime (hopefully this spring??).. Just ducklings for me so far.

Ready for some sun. My run has a tarp over it but the rain blew in from the sides and everyone looks like a cat fresh from a bath and none too happy about it. The only dry one is Sofia a bearded white silkie trying to be a broody Mama in the coop.

Anyone looking for a small flock of Heritage Single Comb Rhode Island Reds? We are selling ours--They are Adian RadeMacher Line and very nice birds. We have the rooster, one hen and 6 pullets. We are just outside Savannah. PM if interested.

Yuck, yuck, and more yuck! Can't believe it was 77* Friday! My run stays dry from above but one part gets mucky up front near the gate. Girls stay dry though other than feet.

Heard a major (egg song) fuss coming from out there just now and went to find two more warm eggs in the box for the day so I guess it's not bothering them too much. :)

Its not looking like its gonna stop here, ive been trying to finish my coop for 2weeks between working 24hr shifts and the rain it dosnt look like im ever gonna get done.
