Put my eggs in, was watching my temp lag and waiting for it to come up. Did NOT touch The Evil Thermostat Knob.

I swore I wasn't gonna leave the house tonight but now hubby has dragged me out to dinner and an oil change at our friends' house (cause that's how we roll)..

So, I'll worry the whole time we're gone. I figure though, worst case I'll have run low the whole time. Right??

I hope you realize that the silkies of mine that everyone loves, came from your eggs last year! LOL!

I'm not sure about a cold spell. I use weather.com for all of my forecasts. And that one shows lows will dip into the 20's again on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week (26th, 27th, 28th) but the highs will stay around 50. That's for the town of Jackson, at least. Not sure about Marietta.

And yes the warmer weather has done wonders for me too. I just came in and logged back on to announce my FRIZZLE HEN just laid her first egg today! The roo that she is with still probably isn't old enough for them to be fertile yet. But the hen is laying, and she could *technically* be put with any roo and create some frizzle babies.

Just smiling at you!!!!! I'm glad our silkies are beloved in many places!!!!!! I have the prettiest Blue ones now that are coming from A gorgeous black over some beautiful splashes. Here's one of the blue's right here!
I cannot wait to see what her babies will look like!!!! Wowie!!!!
