It is very nice. I agree with Missyskym about adding on. I have 3 additions so far. Lol.

Yep...I just finished mine a couple of months ago. I'm about to start the first addition and have two more planned. I don't think it ever stops but Hubby sure hopes so!

Here's mine. The run extends out the other side of the coop another 8' and we've added an automatic waterer.

Looks like a cute little play house! Nice!

Thank you very much. We converted a dog house built for three Great Danes ...hence the three doors. The two end doors on the front open for ventilation only and are covered by chicken wire over the entrance. The "windows" were made from some spare plexiglass and will help with the cold this winter. The center door allows access for cleaning. Hubby built two chicken doors on the back and rigged pulleys with handles that run under the roof to the front of the house so I can pull the handle and let the birds into the run from the front of the coop. I currently have 7 16 wk old LF Cochins. They seem fairly happy except for one thing...6 of them are roosters. Two of them just began crowing this week - they are young enough to still like each other but I know I'm going to have some issues soon. Soooo...I found 2 10 wk old pullets (now in quarantine) waiting their turn at giving my poor 1 hen some relief. AND ...I have a dozen LF Cochin eggs ready to go into the bator tomorrow after I pick-up 2 dozen silkie eggs to put in with them! These will be my first silkies and I'm very excited. :)

This is Cash, my first to crow...in fact he was my first everything...first peep, first hatch, first assisted hatch, first to feather, and now first to crow. His name was Eve until that beautiful red comb showed up ...

I am preparing a giant coop (14' x 20') it is an old metal building I am going to convert. I would like to raise different breeds for laying, meat, as well as quails. My question is, can I house them together but separated by wire dividers? I intend on having 3-4 separated areas inside the coop as well as outside wired in runs that are also separated. Any advice and or suggestions of breeds? I live in Middle Georgia in Marshallville.

I'm wanting to use 2 Bators. One for the first 18 days and then the 2nd for the lockdown period. Can I add eggs to the Bator that I use for 18 days? Or is this to risky?

Hello I'm looking for ducks in south west Georgia I'm near albany and looking for some in surrounding areas if you have any let me know what kind and how far I'll even take fertile eggs for incubating :) thanks.
