YO GEORGIANS! :)

I had a white silkie before a bear got her. She was white and then turned buff after her first 'dust' bath in our lovely North Ga red clay! Never did get her white again! She made the best broody mom! May have to get another one! We has since put an electric wire around the coop/run.

Not really. Any color except white. I'm just looking to expand my own colors, and all I have is white.

So what about other pets for this upcoming weather? What do y'all have? My two outdoor cats have a kennel I've fixed up for them with a fuzzy blanket inside and a towel covering the doorway. One cat has hardly come out of it since I put it out, while the tom is still choosing to sleep in the hay in the barn.. We'll see if his mind changes tonight. ;)

My dogs Iive inside as it is.. My Doberman is all but bald (CDA) so she has a little jacket my Granny made for her that I'll put on her for any true outside time..

My horse has no blanket and I chose not to rush out and purchase one. I do have plenty of hay on hand, and as for his run-in stall I think we will close the front off somehow tonight so that he'll stay dry. He usually has good sense about him but since it's supposed to start raining *before* the freeze I really don't want him out in it not knowing what's to come.

Just curious what everyone else does. :) y'all stay warm!

Anyone have advice on what to do for our chickens tomorrow when the high is 45 and a 20 mile an hour wind? We have laying sex links and young Doms. The Doms are in a more protected from the wind coop while the sex links are in a rather drafty coop.
