YO GEORGIANS! :)

Honestl I think I'll try to teach these new hatches with a nipple. Can you teach grow ups too? Do they sell them at TSC?

I don't know if tsc has them, got mine on Amazon. The grown ups usually figure it out pretty quick. I usually start chicks on a rabbit waterer

I also got mine from amazon. I had no problem going from waterer to nipple with my girls. They were about 10 weeks at the time.

TSC does not carry chicken nipples. Amazon is your best best. The only problem I've ever had with the nipples was when my roosters pecked the straight piece right out of a nipple that was glued into a pvc watering system I built myself. i had to replace a pvc pipe with about 4 nipples on it because I broke the pvc trying to get the broken nipple out. Good thing they're cheap. Oh, and I also start my babies in the brooder on a traditonal water bottle; I hate those messy jar waterers in a brooder. I don't know what I'll do if I ever get ducks!

I just got 1.5 bators :) well, one full functioning one and a bottom just in case anything happens to it. My husband cleaned out his grow room and guess what he found, a stray lid ! So im up to two!

What does everyone breed? I miss the days when my mother in law was not my mil and was just my chicken friend because i'd hand her 40 bucks and she'd fill my bator :( The listings on here look out dated. Im down by columbus and can drive a little bit if need be.

Best bet for my list is to just check grapevinehatchery.weebly.com.

There is a hatchery that does Canadas.. Give me a minute. Not sure on the permit part but they DO have a list of states they don't ship certain ones too so that should tell you. It's on the tip of my tongue, I'll be mad when I see it lol.

We are using the cups in our automatic waterer. We were a little worried that the girls would not figure out, but they have been fine with them.
They are similar to these. We attached to buckets for some and to PVC to fashion an automatic waterer. Has anyone had any experience with these?

I've seen them. I think they're just fine, BUT I have seen them get just as yucky as a regular waterer too.. How do yours do?
