YO GEORGIANS! :)

I can't believe I can't find EEs in my area. I might be forced to get an incubator! LOL!

Do -it-do -it -do -it....try it, you'll like it! Or, you could try the 3.5 hr. trip to get EE's. One option involves about 4-5 weeks of waiting, the other is a 7hr. drive round-trip. I have a free camping spot/eqiupment if you drive, lol. (Our farm used to be a small scout camp)

My poor dad is so sick of hearing about my plans for spring chicks. Thank the Lord I have y'all!! ;)

Looks like I'll have to forgo the Wyandotte s this year, and wait until next spring. I will take eggs to a neighbor for incubation, and hope they all hatch! Maybe later in the spring I'll get some red rangers from McMurray....

Gah! I hope not. I. Trying to find a local source for turkey poults/eggs and this cold crap is not helpful.

Well, this will be my first year without turkeys. We went from having 8 kinds of turkeys to 4 kinds to 1 kind and now no kinds. I will miss the gobble gobble sound and when they are first born! Our turkeys usually didn't start laying until March/April maybe a few in late Feb. I think our geese will be late laying, wonder if they will continue laying or cut off at their regular early May time...... AB I think I sent you an email, sorry message about our farm and your questions.
