YO GEORGIANS! :)

Here's a couple shameless Pekin pics from my last '13 hatch- along with one Mallard. For nostalgia sake. <3 So freaking cute.

Stupid question, but what is the process for fermenting feed?

Not stupid at all :) I did a lot of research, and picked my own method. I found this article very helpful:

Naturalchickenkeeping.blogspot.com

check out her posts about fermented feed. Or just google Fermented Chicken Feed. There's LOTS of articles to look at.

@debgal y'all are welcome anytime!!! We had an awesome time!
I'll try to get pics of the hoop coop this afternoon, I'm about to head to a rabbit show in Conyers with @mrsdszoo so it'll be 5ish before I can get pis up.

Morning all! Have a great day. I am driving to SC and back. Then maybe having a hot dinner date with my handsome Canadian husband ;-) I wonder if I could find some chicks while in-route?

See ... carcar's duckies are yellow and have clearly orange bills. The ones we got from TSC have a brownish-yellow color streaking (subtle, not a hard pattern) on their heads and the bill color is different. One of them even has a pink bill. What are these things? (I know, I know ... "post pics" ... I can't right now)
