Ok, kids ... time for me to check out for the night. Wishing you a good rest and, in the morning, a full cup of coffee.

Question 1: With the cats...how do you keep them from harming the chickens.
Glad there are others that have babies at home! I agree that my home births were amazing compared to my hospital birth. So off topic but I saw you guys talking about babies born in bathrooms and had to laugh that 2 of mine are kitchen babies! Birthing at home was so much better than in the hospital for me! LOL
What is up with the weather? I am trying to not complain because so many friends up north are dealing with snow but goodness it seems like the weather is toying with us here. Plus, I have eggs in the mail and I am worried!
I didn't have any bathroom or kitchen babies ( hubby would have had a heart attack) but I did spit one out on New Year's Day. We always celebrated his birthday at the stroke of midnight. Kid was 8 years old before he realized all those people in Times Square and the ball dropping were not celebrating his birthday.
maybe extra meal worms?I hear ya Chick! LOL But I don't handle extremes well...
I have a Chicken related question folks lmbo! What do I feed my hen besides Chick starter to put weight on her?![]()

Yep. Cackle. The invoice shows they ship in the morning at 0500. I'll have little mousers soon.
Since it has been forever since I posted anything on here, I thought I would show my new baby chicks.
About 2 and a half weeks ago, I bought 8 Ameraucana and 4 Dixie Rainbow chicks from TSC.
Also 1 week ago I had some of my baby chicks hatch and then the rest hatched a few days ago. All together had 16 out of 19 hatch, but unfortunately today one of my chicks died.
These are the Ameraucana and Dixie Rainbow chicks.
