YO GEORGIANS! :)

Lol, sounds like the neighbor should be 'rehomed'

When I lived in Woodstock, my neighbor called in a complaint that my dog barked too much DURING THE DAY. Seriously? They had a dog too, which also barked a lot. Got a notice on my door from the police to either stop the barking or get rid of the dog. :rant
I was not happy. I'll never live in a subdivision again. That neighbor complained about everything.

Our first house was in Woodstock off of Barnes Rd. I don't miss being in a neighborhood at all! We aren't on a lot of land, but it's still better than that.
This lady has called the cops on our dogs. She said she multiple hours of video footage of my dogs barking. I told her that sure was dedication. We got bark collars for the dogs and all has been fine. I get that a barking dog is annoying, but she said she had listened to it for over 3 years. Our dogs were 1 and 2 when she confronted me. My neighbors dogs are out barking night and day, so I think we are getting blamed for some of that.

When I lived out in Augusta, I owned a couple of Siberian Huskies. I kept mine inside and in the back yard, with their own doggie door to come and go from the yard. They were secure there though with a 6-foot-high privacy fence. I also walked them around the neighborhood now and then, and people saw that I had them.

But for some reason, one lady who lived caddy-corner to me (our properties didn't even though - they were about 10 feet apart) called the cops several times because a husky had jumped over her fence into her yard. The real problem was that HER dog was in heat. Both of mine were males and one was still in-tact. But every time she called the cops, the dogs were actually INSIDE THE HOUSE. Finally one cop saw a stray husky leaving her yard as he pulled up and told her it wasn't mine because he saw the dog, it didn't have the same color as either of mine, and my dogs were both indoors right then. She still didn't get the idea, and continued to call the cops on me. I finally got the name of the one deputy who had seen the other dog, and I started to give his name to every deputy that responded to the call after that, as a reliable witness to the existence of this other dog.

I would love to see her one day and laugh at her though, because she learned the hard way that a dog in heat really will attract stray males for MILES. She was just that ****** determined to pin it on me though. I hope she ended up with a litter of 8+.

I didn't realize it, but yesterday was the halfway mark for my Royal Palm turkey eggs! WOOHOO!

Out of 6, five are still going strong. The 6th one is the only one I received with a detached air cell, and it was probably scrambled on top of that, too. It just looked horrible when I received them and candled it. The air moved everywhere, rapidly - as fast as I could move the egg, the air moved with it. So it's no surprise that it didn't make it.

The other five are going strong though! They're filling up those little shells real quick! Here's hoping for a lucky hatch, too! Monday, May 26th!

Awesome, CD! That's great, 5/6..

Just been catching up on a few posts but no way I'll ever get them all. :/ Just watered the garden and tended to birds for the evening.. Everyone is good; the baby Brahmas are getting MASSIVE! (GAM, don't you want ur roo? He's the biggest of them all, beautiful!)..

Was a little worried about Mama Mal as I've not seen her this evening. She's on that nest with a lock-down vengeance, lol. I guess she either took her outing before I got home or decided against it tonight for whatever reason.

Anyway, just popping in to say hi. Another early AM at work tomorrow so I'll be heading to bed before too long. Hope y'all are well. :)
