The black one is a Black Australorp. You can tell by the black legs and green sheen to the feathers. I agree, looks like a hen, but can't tell, can't see saddle/hackle feathers.

And seeing the new pic you posted of the australorp, I'm still going to say it's up in the air. I THINK I see a couple of thin saddle feathers right at the base of it's tail, but it's still kinda hard to tell.
lol its a golden laced wyandotte. I love them but this one has a lot of red on the too of its back and a couple other have a bit of red showing too. And I know my roo has tons of red there. Not sure about hens cause I've never had GLW girlsThat is a cool looking bird. It looks like it's standing under a colored disco ball.
