At the moment the only breeding group I've got are two Khaki ducks and one drake.(I hope)

The black one is a Black Australorp.  You can tell by the black legs and green sheen to the feathers.  I agree, looks like a hen, but can't tell, can't see saddle/hackle feathers.

Hope it's a hen. I won't have 2 roosters and I really like the easter egger roo.

Well if the australorp is a roo, I'd cull him before culling the EE anyway. The australorp has some really messed up toes, which could potentially get in the way of breeding (he has to balance on the hen's back). So if they both do end up being roos, I'd keep the EE roo, and take out the Australorp.

And seeing the new pic you posted of the australorp, I'm still going to say it's up in the air. I THINK I see a couple of thin saddle feathers right at the base of it's tail, but it's still kinda hard to tell.

So much for farm day. It is alternating between raining like hell and pouring. This "quick popup shower" the weatherman called for has been popped up for over an hour with no sign of letting up. I should have just gone to work.

I'm worried about this one( and a couple more I couldn't catch).... it has more red on its back than the other ones... hen or roo?

I didn't worry about getting the comb in the pic because all their combs look the same.

That's what I was thinking also. We call the black one knuckles case it's feet are so jackes. What's weird is they all were raised in the same environment.

lol its a golden laced wyandotte. I love them but this one has a lot of red on the too of its back and a couple other have a bit of red showing too. And I know my roo has tons of red there. Not sure about hens cause I've never had GLW girls
