YO GEORGIANS! :)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, so far the chickens have been a lot more fun then I ever expected I could sit in the yard and watch their antics for hours(sometimes I do

…so glad to welcome another Georgian to the flock.

I totally agree that chickens are more fun than imagined…and the fun keeps coming. Had mine since 3 days old, and now are 19 months and still better than tv! Your fun is just beginning.

Soooo the sore spot on my chicken is getting worse, pretty much looks like its a big skin tag...I can take some more photos tomorrow...I'm not sure if I should let nature take care of it or do something...what I do not know...my gut is almost telling me it might be an ingrown feather?

For those that live in the North GA area, are the leaves turning pretty fall colors yet?
No. The leaves won't be really colorful until the last two weeks in Oct - 1st week in Nov. I live near Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville and am looking out my window right now. Only trees with any color are the dogwoods and a few others have some yellowing leaves. But, this is coming soon!
