Anyone remember me?? I've been a terrible forum friend, lol.. Even more than usual.

ALL my mature hens (and rooster) are in a gigantic molt right now.. I'm getting an average of one, sometimes two but usually zero, eggs per day right now. Out of SEVEN hens!

My youngsters are coming up great- I'll have to get pics of my Brahma boys tomorrow if they will cooperate. I've got a gold and a blue! <3

I'm just feeling the 'chicken math' bug with wanting a couple more MG hens! Our MG will track me down wherever I am in the run to come 'talk' to me in her little squeaky chirps. Out of all of ours she wants to talk to us/'tell us stuff' without really seeming to want anything else at the time.

Your MG sounds like our Partridge Cochin Hen. When we go out to sit and watch the chickens, she will come running up to one of us with her chatter. She reminds me of a child telling me about her day and about who did what. LOL!
