Actually, you can litter train a chicken. Takes a lot of time. Chickens can also learn to do tricks. You tube has lots of info on how to do it.

Here now.  Finally chewed through the duct tape GAM had me tied in the closet with.  Apparently she doesn't like the ring tone I chose for her when she calls me.  Think the Jeff Dunham routine with Walter... Nag nag nag..... You can youtube it..... Filters will edit it here if I type it.  

Don't feel bad, GAM. My ringtone on Mr Carcar's phone goes between a barking dog and the "Halloween" theme song.

Any Georgians want 4 NN Turken hens before they are sold as meat birds? They are too old for my flock but my buddy who just bought them strictly deals in meat birds and that's exactly how he will advertise them.

I just looked at the upcoming week's forecast for our area. Tuesday night it is supposed to be a low of 20 here. It got down to 24 last night. How cold is too cold for chickens? At what temperature do y'all put some heat in the coop?
