YO GEORGIANS! :)

Nah, my still airs always require attentiveness after a big heat loss.. It's usually not as big of a difference but it's always some.
See ... you need a cabinet.

HELP, my brinsea bator heat has gone out oh no, the fan is still running, any ideas how to fix it, short of buying a new lid, I have the eggs on a heating pad made for reptiles, so close to hatch, one egg rolled off and broke, the chick is still alive but has lost so much blood, I'm just so sick even cried,

I'm hoping the others are still alive as I don't know how long they were without heat, and the bird that fell was the biggest one

Ok, I am making a command decision here. Since there is absolutely no way we will ever come up with a date that works for every person that has any interest in coming, I will just pick a date. May 2nd. If enough people have fun and want to do it again, hopefully anyone who can't come on the 2nd will be able to come the next time. And as I've said before, if anyone is close and just wants to come visit, that's fine, too. Doesn't have to be a special get together event for folks to come say hi.

So MAY 2nd it is. Mark your calendars. I've marked mine.
I'm in will need directions.

Oh dear, I am soooo sorry!! How close are they? I've hatched -TWICE!- duck eggs on a heating pad in low. Just kept a dish towel between them and the pad.. A mercury thermometer on there with them and a wet paper towel directly on them with a (dry) dish towel over top. It worked wonderfully but these were in the last week of hatching.

Good luck. Ask lots of questions and follow your gut and you may have pretty good luck! Heck I had better luck with the heating pad than with a real bator. :lau
