a few random pics of my AM's, for your enjoyment, but esp for carcar: they aren't happy with me today. Before I let them out this morning, I got them one by one and took close ups of their heads to post in another thread for help determining him or her.......and I'm working inside the coop itself, and they don't like the doors not being open, even though the food and water are moved outside, LOL. I have them some scrambled eggs to take out as a peace offering...

Aww they are lovely! They look around the same age as mine,. I think I only have one cockerel as he is quite raised/red in the face and the others are still very flesh colored and flat.

So my chickadee eggs I'm trying to save have two developing normally and one looks like a yolker and the last one might be a quitter. But I'm happy to say that I am trying to give them a fighting chance. I will be candling all my eggs tomorrow night for day 7. I can't wait to see what if there are any growing.

@GAMarans how can I tell the chick is growing properly in the BCM eggs? I have some dark shells and want to know what to look for besides marking the air cells.

My NN is defiantly a boy They are now out of the brooder box during the day, and I let them run around in the grow out pen to get some exercise, it was a nice warm day today.but they go back in the box for nighty nighty.
