It ain't the mountains, but what rating is the Dallas store? God knows it needs help. I hate going to that place. But they're the only ones who sell the non medicated food we feed the ducks and geese.
We just trained the new ASM for there last week. I told him they had a certain reputation going against them. I wish they would just hurry and build one in Blairesville and quit making me wait.It ain't the mountains, but what rating is the Dallas store? God knows it needs help. I hate going to that place. But they're the only ones who sell the non medicated food we feed the ducks and geese.
Those turkens certainly make beginning stages of processing easier.
yeah I'm thinking my dad and grandpa used to call them carpenters squares too......and I do understand about the home depot guy not knowing what it was. Some of those workers are awesome with how they can help, some of them would be better suited to mucking out the chicken run, IF you could make them understand where to pile it...........HA! cool. I wasn't totally off. When I bought it, I asked the Home Depot dude where I'd find a carpenter's square. ( I think that's what my dad called it) and he didn't know what I was talking about. Then he says "that L shaped ruler thing?", I said yes & showed me where they were. But now I know for sure! LOL
Yup. Age 41. Definitely feeling every minute of it today though. I now have a new appreciation for all the DIY stuff my Dad used to do. Well into his late 50s And early 60s. He made it look so easy. I miss that man! He would love doing this coop with me.
As for the squaring trick, I was measuring the corners like you said(the first day) and knew it was something to do with that but I would've never figured that little trick out. I failed math so bad, I never even made it to Geometry. So thanks for that tip! I've begun to like that Siri thing, too.
I will check out that site. It sounds familiar. I may have been on it last year when I was hunting craigslist.
What should I name my large chicken coop with 40 chickens?? I need your ideas n help pretty please. Maybe funny, clever, southern or business names for it or with Hess as our last name? Tell me your idea. Thanks soo much!
