By gosh I'm thinking I've got a freak accident on my hands. It was dry but not "old" dry. Still red and I was still able to scrape it with my nail.

I almost forgot to tell you all my Java bantam is hatching her 5 chicks we have hatched 2 and 3 pipped I'm so glad someone around here has better luck I can't wait till I get my other bator fixed.
