YO GEORGIANS! :)

Wow. Did you take a breath while you typed all that? I just got an image of an excited kid hyped up on sugar and caffeine telling a story about the sky falling...

I'm the newbie. I just got 4 Buff Orpingtons. Named them after The Golden Girls. Dorothy turned out to be a rooster. :lau
We are building the coop right now. Hoping to have them in their new home next week some time. And then we are going to immediately expand the flock so that I can get another Dorothy, keep the roo ( one of my favorites) and add about 3 new birds of different breeds. For now...

I was definitely wanting a roo eventually. I know that God is in control of all things and not I, but I really wanted a Welsummer roo or one of those beautiful Game(?) ones. I'm cool with it, though. Now, when we get a new Dorothy, She'll have a Stanley and all will be complete.

All things have worked out for the best. Besides, when they were a little less than 2 weeks, Dorothy and Blanche had quite a case of wry neck. Dorothy nearly died and spent about a week sleeping on my chest in the bed with DH and I. I've sort of become attached. Even though "HE" doesn't seem to remember how sweet he was being back then. Now he's a rowdy little pecker. I couldn't part with him.

I like to mix BO pullets and RIR roos they make a beautiful bird and I have people who like to buy them
Are we wearing name tags to the May 2 event? I would like that so I can have a visual of who is who.. We old people need that, you know.
I will if you will so we are putting our screen name with our real names?

I told her that if DH complained about the chick sleeping in bed with them to tell him isn't it every mans dream to sleep with more than one chick
