YO GEORGIANS! :)

So, day 10 and I candled my eggs again and the eggs are still definitely all very dark, I wasn't able to see any vessels clearly BUT I did see clear and I dare say vigorous movement in at least two of the eggs! :weee
Boy, they sure did not like being upside down for candling! 8 days left til lockdown! I'm so excited!

I think maybe the light I'm using is less than ideal for candling.
Awesome!!

You might want to see about a different light. A good one can even make candling BCM eggs possible. Plus, you should need to turn them upside-down.

That was how I read it. :) I only turn mine up if I can't get them to move for me and I have reason to be nervous. However it does appear to be common practice as I've seen countless candling photos with a light box facing up and the egg air sac-down.

Looks like a morning-after scene from a Brahma Kai frat party.. :lau .. That's number four about to pop and to the right number give ha been hanging by a thread for over an hour. The one to the left did all tht work in about ten minutes!

Do you mean, you shouldn't need to turn them upside down?  I don't turn mime upside down.

Oh, yeah. Most of the candling pictures I saw recommended turning them air-sack down for the best veiw. Though, to be honest because my light's not great they got turned every which way while I was trying to see what was going on in there! Bigside down definitely gave me the best motion on them, but the veiw was about the same from all angles, light 'whites' with a shadowy blob on the bigger end and an aircell. Once they were done being candled though, everyone got put rightside up once again back in the 'oven'! :)

That's good. Mimes tend to become silently outraged when you flip them over.
