So who will get the snapping turtle, or do you leave it, I heard they are good eating,It's been pretty good to be me lately. First I was given about 18 Jersey Giant chicks ... then I was given 9-10 Muscovy ducklings. (didn't count the ducks when I got them ... have 8 now and there was one confirmed snapping turtle victim)
The chicks came from an incredibly sweet woman that ha donated eggs for school hatching in the past. The ducklings are from a very nice woman near us that doesn't have the duck-friendly space for them and knows that they have a great home at our farm.

hopfully it will mine did but it took a few weeks lol sime if mine RIRs chick didnt even squat to poop, just poop in the run lol they ate not doing this anynore squat to poop and they sit in roost at night pull neck in are tuck neck under wings now lol they ate very active ckicks still even at 8 weeks the only thing that slowed down any is the heat -they get sirt pan and icebowl with icetreats to cool down during the day even ice in wayer bowl lol at first they ran away fir the ice chips on thry run to it very smart little brood ,smartest I had in a long time lol. I am enjoying raising my little chickiedoodies lol ,loving my Texas RIRs in Georgia.maybe it will realize it's legs bend all the time it usually ends up on it's head, don't know how it can sleep
