YO GEORGIANS! :)

It's been pretty good to be me lately. First I was given about 18 Jersey Giant chicks ... then I was given 9-10 Muscovy ducklings. (didn't count the ducks when I got them ... have 8 now and there was one confirmed snapping turtle victim)

The chicks came from an incredibly sweet woman that ha donated eggs for school hatching in the past. The ducklings are from a very nice woman near us that doesn't have the duck-friendly space for them and knows that they have a great home at our farm.

So who will get the snapping turtle, or do you leave it, I heard they are good eating,

Sweet! Sorry about the turtle victim, though. I bet someone is going "turtle fishing" this weekend.

Oh don't you worry! LOL

It's you and Rossfam, I believe.

Oops.. Roswellorganic. Not Rossfam. Sorry.

@katsdar please post lots of pics of your LO, I have given this much thought and decided not to get them. Sorry, @carcar80 . I worry that they will be too large for my little chicken tractor and some of the turns getting in and out of the upstairs or by the feeders in the lower part. I will be living vicariously through your pictures, it is one of the breeds and color I really wanted.

Plan right now is to pick up Blue Ameuracana chicks next week. I am so excited, my first time raising chicks. DH is going along, though not super happy with the idea. My dear friend and MIL will be here to help me, she loves critters and is so happy she gets to raise them with me. Life is good :)
