but my Ancona was supposed to be a hen

luckily I got a pair of blue laced red Wyandotte's, I was gonna be upset if both were roos !!

Fun!!!! I love your birds!!! SO pretty! I wish I could have tons!!! But seeing I am a bit restrive on my property space I keep it at 2 sets of breeders and one layer pen.

nice, I forgot to say I have 3 OEGB babies too, they are inside still as they have not feathered out yet

on are young only 6 days old they are in a close coop by there self with a heat lite I had them in a brooder but 3 of my babies died in there so I took the 7 I had left and put them in a extra coop and covered the run door they are happy in there

Sorry you guys, I don't need any more roosters! I have 3 purebred Crested Cream Legbar cockerels I need to sale right now, plus some more that are mixes! I have two roosters that I keep and will be keeping one of the Lav Am roos that I just hatched. Everything else needs to go! But, if you guys are ever in this area, come and visit me! I always have something for sale!

not sure if he's still hatching, I'd seriously doubt it, but you could contact him and see if he has anything. He sells legbars, and ameraucanas. This is the guy just north of Calhoun that I got my ameraucanas from, and he does ship. Like I said, you'd have to contact him to get details

This cutie pie is looking a little bit rooster to me. Anyone else think so too? Roughly 6wks old, slooooow feathering, really hyper,etc.
Basically all the red flags and behavioral idiosyncrasies that were going on before I figured out Stanley was a roo. Lol
Photo doesn't show so well, but the center row of "peas" in that comb are really prominent.

And this is Honey(named after Honey Ryder). Pretty sure miss Chocolate Orpington turned out to be a EE. Bwahahahaha! She's so cool looking!

Rocky Rhodes also had CCL. That's who I got my eggs from. I know he just hatched a bunch....may want to see if he has any left. He lives in Blue Ridge north of me. They lay great. Really nice blue eggs!

YUP! LOL
mainly because they are identical to Stanley. it just acts like a dude, not like the pullets. And the comb seems to be confirmation. It's pretty pink compared to the 2 girls. I kinda hope I'm wrong. I don't want to have to re-home him. But if Stanley isn't having it, then I will have to. Which means no blue eggs for us. Honey had a growth on her uterus causing her abdomen to swell. Vet put her on a medication to take the swelling down and try to shrink the growth, but says IF she survives (not likely) that she won't ever lay. Poor little thing.
