And we had to put my little buddy down yesterday. He had some infliction that took him from a happy healthy dog to nearly dead in about 4 days.

My guess is from a dealer license. Didn't you get one, flower?

Also, most feed stores now (supposed to anyway) make you fill out a form when you buy chicks.. Which they then turn in to DOA.

It's not turned in to DOA unless there is a specific instance requiring such. Otherwise they are held onto throughout chick days then shredded.
