Yummy!

I don't know! When you tear it apart and mix it with onions and jalapeños and spices and then sauté it in its juices, then put that with some toasted tortillas and homemade guacamole... It's pretty fantastic. Lol
and all that is even better if it's smoked first

in all seriousness, that would be better for making some brown gravy and having open faced roast beef sandwiches with mashed taters........last time I tried that with smoked beef it wasn't what I was expecting.....

Carcar, you will get a laugh out of this. I got an email from a lady looking for bantam NNs. So, I wrote to her and told her I knew someone who may have some. Didn't hear from her, so I wrote again. Then I get an email from her telling me she just bought 4 from a someone and is going to pick them up. She said they were Brahma NNs! Hahaha! Even if they are bantam Brahmas, they are not going to be bantams! And, if they aren't bantam Brahmas (are there such a thing?). can you imagine a huge Brahma NN?
would this be akin to breeding a chihuahua to a great dane?

and I best stop right there before I get myself banned

Oh yeah, it would be almost a waste to use a smoked brisket for tacos!

There actually are bantam Brahmas, but large or small, that sounds just plain wrong!

However maybe it'll help the poor things in the heat. They're pretty pitiful. :/

you care to share a recipe for that? I've never cooked brisket in a slow cooker & I don't have a smoker. It sounds like I may need to try it soon.
that was either a small piece of a brisket or a really big slow cooker

no way this thing would have fit even in Jill's biggest slow cooker, and I bought the small one.........there was one that was over 18 pounds and the price tag would have required a signature loan.....

It's okay....
:confused:g it's good so they can grow with their new family.

Guy already sent me a photo of their new home! Looks really beautiful. I warned him to keep his eye on them right now because ducks this young don't have their water proof feathers yet and could actually drown! He does have a brooder area set up for them. I am happy now that I see them! Momma duck is, however, still looking for her babies.
