what color are your AM's? out of all the ones we hatched, I managed to only keep two, LOL and they're both going to be splash. I wouldn't mind a black one or two......

ok, my babies have feathered out very nicely almost no down left, had the babies in the day pen the last 2 days, (they go to the brooder at night) so they could run and stretch their little wings. I lost 2 from the start, I accidentally turned off the warming light and when I noticed it they were really chilled I warmed them up but they went back to their maker (no not CarCar.) but how do you know they are going to be splashed?, Oh and the yellow chick is turning blue.

awww, I hate about you losing two! the two I kept that were yellow, are feathering out with whitish feathers with black spots mixed in, I'm calling those splash, is that right? although I do realize they could change, but there seems to be a lot of random black spots.... For now, judging strictly by the tails and yes I do know that's not accurate, but so far I'm thinking my two are going to be girls.......

I have a few too many AM black and blue 10 weeks old from a breeder. They are pure. I'm going to give them another week or so. I got 9 and only really need a few! I'd be happy to share breeder info through PM if anyone is interested. They are hard to sex even at 10 weeks, so I'm not sure what I have yet!
