YO GEORGIANS! :)

I'm interested in the restrictions that NPIP might cause.

For example, I also have pigeons (a lot), geese, cockatiels, lovebirds and indian ringneck doves.
Are these going to be an issue?

And if I am NPIP, can I only get birds from other NPIP breeders?

Not sure on the pigeons, etc. I do think you're "supposed" to "promise" to only purchase from other NPIP, but not sure how they would monitor that. However that's something I generally do already, with the exception of people I know personally and trust their flock.

I'm reading that you have to have a minimum of 30 birds in order to test?? If that's the case I'm gonna have to hold onto my extra cockerels for a bit or I'll be just shy..

I have twelve AM chicks available- blues and blacks.. I don't think I've told y'all but maybe I have.

Ooh, how much? Very interested. Want to add to the ones I got from PapaChaz :)

I have these listed at $6 each/$60 for all but I'll do $5/$50 for my BYC/GA gang.

Let me see if the guy shows up tonight to buy my white fantail pigeons. If so, I'm interested in them.
Shoot, speaking of that, I need to go catch the ones I'm selling to move them to the other pen.

want to have them separate from the ones I am keeping. :)

That I am unsure....I am NPIP certified and add to my flock but I buy young. Once they are 16 weeks old they can be tested. So mine I have now are old enough but they won't be tested until next june.

Not true. I only 5 birds tested when he came out in June.
