YO GEORGIANS! :)

Yes.... how unfortunate for me. :( She sees me when I'm sleeping, too. Like the Santa Claus from Hell.

Well having to live with GAM, I need some "interesting" in my life. She's a drain on my soul.

GAM = the apple of your eye, the moon and stars in your sky, the love of your life. You know she's pretty **** rad, and that makes you a very lucky man.

@PapaChaz alrighty Papa, get your clumsy pants on!!! New Years Day isn't even over and I'm already one up on ya. I had my first trip to the ER for some stitches already.

Happy New Year everybody!!

Seriously?? 1st day of the year and stitches already??

Yup. Apparently, I need to learn how to properly cut an acorn squash in half. On the bright side, it's only 2 stitches and I now know that the new knife sharpener I got actually works. I made it 18 months without a trip to the ER. That's progress. Good times!

I had some Venison Stew cooking in the crockpot, with 1:30 to go and had just opened a bottle of wine. I was in triage just dying to get home. All I wanted was to put on my chicken PJs and have some wine & stew. And, another bright side, I won't be needing a tetanus shot for a few more years.

So... just wondering if the ER people know you by name and threaten to call DFACS on your husband like they used to do my parents.

Luckily, they do not. And that's funny. Back in the day, it was my brother was the one who was always getting hurt. When he was in the 3rd grade, he broke 2 fingers and a collar bone within a few days. All 3, unrelated incidents. I remember the DFACS people taking me into a separate room and asking me all kids of questions. My mom was ******!

The nurse did compliment DH's wound dressing skills, though.
