Well, it's a tricky thing. If the air sac is at the small end and you turn it over to do pointy side down, the air will travel up and could rip thru the yoke or tear the little white 'anchor' lines. But, if it is kept pointy side up because the air sac is there, the chick may not have enough room to turn around and zip out when its time. That being said, I hatched a few like that because my friend didn't know to store them with the pointy side down. I put them in pointy side down and a few hatched out the bottom. I had to helped one and it was fine. So, it's a risk either way. I liked Robo's idea.So.... NObody has an opinion on whether I should leave my egg upside down?? Hmmm.
