went out and cleaned my coop earlier, my OE laid her egg in the poop tray instead of the nest, and it was eaten........
I'll be keeping an eye on her. I don't know if she laid it overnight and it just looked too tempting, or if she laid there on purpose and then couldn't resist. First egg eating I've had with this bunch......they have oyster shell available, and I'm feeding 22% layer pellets. If she turns out to be a cannibal, she'll be on the smoker soon
So far none eaten, but my one bantam seems to like to either lay it when she goes on the roosting bar at night and drop it into the poop, or first thing in the morning right in front of the entrance door to their run area.
