YO GEORGIANS! :)

Honestly, I've tried to like the NNs, but they still freak me out. I know folks who love them, but I can't see them as anything but ugly. YET, this one is probably one I'd almost call pretty. Considering how I feel about NNs (and frizzle-dizzle-dazzle-whatevers, ick), that's high praise, LOL. Maybe it's because she's blue and I love blue chickens.

Would it help if I also told you all my NN's (except one) lay blue eggs? The one that doesn't lay a blue egg lays an odd dark pinkish/purpely brown colored egg. It was hatched from an olive egg.

Um, nope, doesn't help, sorry. I thought maybe it was one of those breeds that was one you had to see in person and get a better true picture of it, like I felt when I saw my first Russian Orloff. Handsome birds in person, just so-so in photos. The NNs, well, they were just as icky in person as in the pictures, to my eye. But, to each his own. There's a chicken for everyone, that's for sure! I don't like Asian Ground Parrots, either (Silkies) if it makes you feel any better, but you may have some of those, too. I don't like frizzles with feathers on the neck.

Finally, I am excited to announce that my research has paid off and now there is a product for all of your sicknesses with Poultry Stop. You will now be able to lead a normal life again! I am still working with the Communicable Disease Clinic for a permanent cure, but until then, try this product. No longer will you have to lie about how many chickens you have, no longer lying to your spouse that you will not get any more chickens, or lying about how many eggs are in the incubator!!! I remain your Champion! Flower's Husband!
But baby there just 4 eggs in the incubator it's a 4or8 not a 48 egg incubator it just was marked wrong it shows you all sides of the eggs at once!! And no I had only one egg in each of the 4 cartons I brought in with me !! But the cost of feed this month went up again!! Yes it's twice as much as it was last month and they have smaller bags they are just 25 lb bags not like it was last week, yes they look just like the 50 lb bags! And no I built another building for the kids no I know ours are grown I'm talking about the grand kids! Yes that's my story and I'm sticking to it!! No I'm not addicted to the chickens cluck cluck!

Hahaha! Then I won't tell you she has 5 toes from some silkie in her background! Lol! I don't have any use for silkies myself, but that is because they will lay 5 eggs, go broody for three months then lay 5 more eggs and then go broody for 4 months , repeat, repeat, repeat!

My Partridge Brahmas may be almost as broody, if the way they started is any indication. Two of them laid for less than a month and then both went broody within a week of each other. Waiting to see how often they do that or if it was a fluke.

We had a big boy Brahma, Beau. He was my husband's favorite. Died in a freak accident and broke his neck.. My DH was devastated so we got some Blue Partridge Brahma eggs from a lady in Florida and have hatched those. I ended up with 3 boys, 2 girls, one is a splash. They are almost 3 months old now. Sold one boy so far. Want to sell one more.

Beau

Beau's son.....Frizzled EE is the mom

Splash on left, mix on right, boys on back right. CCL on back left with others
