YO GEORGIANS! :)

Been rough around here so I am ready for some light-hearted social time this weekend.

Our little colt that had the run in with colic a month and a half ago has decided to try it again. I think he is clear now ... for the time being.

One of our toms turkeys and one of his girls have vanished ... ducks have been vanishing ... no feathers, no bodies, nothing ... just gone.

And I am still gimping around with this darn boot on my leg.

Enough whining ... hope all is well with everyone out there.
Sorry to hear about your babies!
I feel your pain with the boot, I was in one off and on for almost a year!

I got a bone growth stimulator yesterday. Very awkward thing to have on. It is like a home arrest anklet on steroids. Have to use it for 3 hours in one sitting every day.

Busy here too. Spent the weekend at a wedding for my nephew. Had 4 more baby ducks hatch, two sets of eggs from my broody and one more set hatching as we speak. Oh, and got two baby goats. I said no to them because of all the work, but DH wanted them so bad! He went ahead and got them and we don't have the house or fencing ready! It's going to be crazy trying to keep them happy until everything is done!

It's lingering fun from when I broke my ankle March 19th. Darn thing just won't heal.

Mine didn't break but I had surgery last October to repair a torn tendon, and reconstruct another that was torn from an old injury, and grew back wrong, well I stepped in a hole in February and re tore...it will never be the same..yay me
Hope yours heals soon, summer is flipping miserable in a boot!!

Thought I'd ask: Would anyone want any Indian Runner Duck hatching eggs for the exchange on Saturday? I have a few. They take 28 days to incubate. Let me know. If nobody wants them, I will sell them at the Farmers Market Friday.
