If you have a high-gloss latex paint or even a semi-gloss latex paint, that would make for easy clean up after painting since it's water based. The downside is that latex paints tend to be not as durable and easy to clean as oil-based, high-gloss enamel paint. The main thing is to try to avoid paints with flat finishes because those take a lot more work to clean. What type...latex?
Once upon a time I lived in a vintage shotgun house in New Orleans, and I had a large kitchen that I painted with an oil-based, high-gloss white enamel. I had to give it two coats, but when the job was over, the white paint really opened up the kitchen and made it look even roomier. I was very pleased with the results of that project. Anyway, I hope you find a paint that suits you and your flock!
