Copacetic. No news is good news.@livhatcher @brucifer how are them babies coming along??
What about the eggs??Copacetic. No news is good news.
Aside from possibly moving out one Chocolate Orpington cockerels and one FBCM cockerels, everything stays, and that's a nice feeling. However, by September I'll need to get a Muscovy pen built, so I there's always something to do around here.
The Showgirls a growing like weeks and getting cuter by the day. I watched them playing the cluck-cluck chase game a couple of days ago. It was too funny.![]()

Ayam Cemani and Silkie eggs still have a few days before first candling. What about the eggs??
Do you have a pic of the showgirls? Might be able to tell what they are.
And as for getting the pekins fast, that was slow for me. Lol. Normally I'm like, I want that, and then get it later that day. But pekins are apparently hard to find around here. Had to drive an hour away for them. I had an extra pen that always floods in the heavy rain so figure it'll be perfect for them.
As for acquiring Pekins, isn't there a local park or lake nearby?Anyway, sounds like you have the perfect spot of them. Are you planning on growing them as meat birds?
What is that grey chick? It's so pretty. How can you not love babies.View attachment 1091618 View attachment 1091619
